Become A Member of Coastguard Hawke's Bay

Coastguard Hawke's Bay have over 500 members of which about 50 are active search and rescue crew members, helping in areas such as Rescue Vessel Skippers, Boat crew, Shore support, Search and Rescue advisors and Radio communications.

Membership costs $35 per year, which includes many benefits.

Some of these benefits are:

• A free tow within the Napier Limits
• Boat Safety Checks  Print out The Safety Checklist
• Regular Newsletters
• Training Programmes (for Active Crew Members)

Active Crew meet at our Meeanee Quay headquarters each Wednesday from 5.30pm for information and training sessions. If you are interested in becoming a member of the active crew you can come along to one of these meetings.
